After a while some parts of our equipment get ripped off. The zippers from the Exped tent are not working anymore, we have broken Quick Lock 2 mounts at the Ortlieb panniers, Julis Schwalbe Marathon was ruptured and my Continental Compact also. Our Asus Netbook is useless, because we canot charge it anymore and our tubes are full of cactus holes. The MP3 player gave up and at the end Juli hurts her foot. Cycling and walking is very painful.
Everything´s not to bad but I’m disappointed from Ortlieb. With my good old 10 years old panniers I´ve never had problems like this. I got holes and cracks that it´s not really waterproof anymore. But here in Mexico we learn to take it like it is and try to improvise. There are cyclists, which are traveling around the world with old mayonnaise bags. So what…!
